CCT – Cinema, Cycling, Tourism at the Ghisallo Museum
THE CLOSING EVENTS OF THE SEASON
The latest appointments of the CCT Project – Cinema, Cycling, Tourism as part of the PIC – Integrated Culture Project, supported by the Como and Lecco Chamber of Commerce and the Lombardy Region, promoted by Lombardia Musica in collaboration with the Ghisallo Museum, will include 3 events special, i.e .:
Saturday 2 October, 11 am: Homage to the Territory
Saturday 9 October, 10.00 am: Tribute to Fiorenzo Magni
Friday 15 October, 6 pm: Tribute to the Ghisallo Museum on the 15th of its opening.
The 3 events are all closely linked to Lake Como, but even more to Magreglio and the Ghisallo Museum.
We will thus discover in the appointment of 2 October panoramic views from above of the entire lake, as well as of the city of Como, of the most renowned historic houses in the history of our territory and of the museum itself. The music, created specifically for the documentary production of the Ghisallo Museum, will be composed – as for the entire project – by the composer Rossella Spinosa, authoritative signature of the music for documentaries and non-sound cinema at an international level.
On 9 October, the dutiful homage will be to the Founder of the Ghisallo Museum, or Fiorenzo Magni, in the desire to evoke his great cycling skills, his competitive spirit, but also his being a man and sportsman in every aspect of everyday life. The production, originally born in 2020 for the centenary of the champion’s birth, is re-proposed in the Project in a live version to allow you to get to know this central figure better in the history of cycling, but also in the history of the Museum.
Finally, the last appointment with live music will be for the homage to the 15th anniversary of the birth of the Cycling Museum in Magreglio: images, documents, videos, collected in an unpublished special that will also be screened for the first time, in a kind of big Birthday Party shared with the public. The event will be at 6 pm, once again with the new soundtrack created ad hoc by Rossella Spinosa and performed live in concert.
The President, Antonio Molteni, comments on this last live event dedicated to the Ghisallo Museum: “The Ghisallo museum reaches the important milestone of fifteen years of opening, the perfect opportunity to retrace in a special way the most exciting moments of this exciting journey. ”
To close the project, two other appointments, on 23 and 24 October, for the presentation to the public of the two DVD productions made by the Ghisallo Museum for the PIC, dedicated to two great champions, Fausto Coppi and Fiorenzo Magni, with archive materials from the Museum himself, in a sort of rediscovery and enhancement of his own historical materials.
All appointments are free, but with an obligation to book by mail (info@museodelghisallo.it) and with access allowed with a green pass.
