A season opener that returns to pedaling in the iris of a champion in the blue jersey!
The Museum will host the world champion Giuseppe Saronni and the journalist Beppe Conti. The meeting will be an opportunity to talk about the victory at Goodwood and, as the title of the book says, delve into other truths and anecdotes from the career of the great Italian champion.

Forty years after Goodwood, Beppe Saronni world champion on the English hill with that deadly jab on the finish line that already belongs to the legend of cycling. It was the summer of ’82. A poignant and very pleasant memory, which serves as an inspiration to relive the glorious career of a champion who belongs to our sporting heritage. Saronni recounts his unprecedented truths, triumphs and defeats, a fierce and splendid rivalry with Moser, duels and alliances with Hinault, the last performances of Gimondi and Merckx. He also lived a second life as manager of many champions, achieving the most beautiful feat, the discovery and signing for the UAE of today’s greatest talent, the Slovenian Tadej Pogačar. Saronni was recently appointed Ambassador of Milan to the World together with Caterina Caselli and Antonio Albanese. Finally, about thirty characters, opponents of the past, including Moser, today’s champions, supporters and those who were at Goodwood in the blue jersey, tell their Saronni. With color photo insert.
