Today the Ghisallo Cycling Museum received an unexpected vist from World’s champion Thor Hushovd!

From Norway, class of ’78, he was one of the protagonist of cycling in the early 2000s. rank cyclist, very fast, Thor greatest win will always be the Australian World of Geelong 2010, when on the slightly rising home straight he was able to overtake all the favorites, such as Breschel, Davis, Pozzato, Van Avermaet and Freire.
Thor won the under-23 time trial world championship in 1998 and the ranks of Gand-Wevelgem 2006.
He is between the champions who were able to win stages in all the three big Giri, 10 at theTour de France, 1 at the Giro d’Italia (in Scarperia del Mugello for the disqualification of Petacchi in 2007) and 3 at the Vuelta a España.
He wore two time the green jersey of the rank leader, in Paris, at the Tour de France 2005 and 2009.
Thor was plesantly impressed by the Museum, and declared he wants to donate his World Champion Jersey to the Museum. And we will wait for it!
