The Bellagio and Lake Como Festival (this year in its 12th Edition) has presented more than four hundred events since 2011 to date, offering a path of art, music, and literature that can traverse the entire Lake region. A project that comes to life from the legacy of leading figures of international artistic heritage who have stayed on the Lario (including Liszt, Stendhal, Rossini, Verdi), enhancing the most evocative mansions and historic residences in the area. The artistic programming is declined in the dual purpose of giving space to the Italian cultural world of music, but at the same time to enhance magical places that have always represented for artists stimulus and inspiration, as well as points of international relevance for tourism. After the suspension in 2020, the Festival acted to plan and reactivate its network of national and international relevance, restoring vitality to an area known as a “Unique World in the World,” inimitable in quality of life, culture, sense of beauty, nature and custody of the sense of specialty of our entire country Italy. The connection to places then becomes an essential element; the Lake has always been a “classic” place of and in the world. The tourist-cultural value of our project finds its strength in the conjunction of the natural beauty of the chosen places with the great classical music repertoire, in an unparalleled crossroads of sensations and emotions.
