Storie di Lago. Per lago e per terra lungo un filo di seta.
The new project that sees the synergy between the Como Silk Museum, the the Lake Como International Museum of Vintage Boats and the Ghisallo Cycling Museum realized with the contribution of Fondazione Cariplo

The Silk Museum of Como, the the Lake Como International Museum of Vintage Boats of Pianello del Lario and the Ghisallo Cycling Museum receive funding from Fondazione Cariplo for the project submitted in response to the “For Culture 2021” call for proposals.
This is an innovative project that aims to enhance the experience within the three
museums that are unique at the territorial level.
The project, overseen by project manager Lorenzo Donegana, involved collaboration with the
ELV – Culture of Innovation- team for the realization of the “Storie di Lago” web app in which the visitor can become the protagonist of the three worlds that tell the partner museums, thanks to virtual guides, one for each museum, that show the path through gamification
of the experience. In this way, the various rooms are transformed into actual levels of a video game to be overcome through phygital activities (both a physical – physical – and digital – digital experience), thus designed not to lose the authenticity of each narrative.
Thus, between quizzes, riddles and logic games whose answers can be found in the exhibits in
each museum, visitors can discover the peculiarities and treasures of these three excellences of the
Lombard territory through a new way of enjoying cultural content.
” Storie di Lago” constitutes an important step for the entities involved, not only because of the greater
digitization that is required for museums to remain competitive and the increasing demand for
interactivity of the exhibition route with the user, but also for the creation of a network between cultural realities
operating in the area.
For further heritage enhancement, three local stakeholders were also involved:
Sentiero dei Sogni Association, Iubilantes ODV Association and Antonella Fontana’s olfactory workshops.
that will engage diverse audiences in discovering the three museums through initiatives, activities
and events.
The project was also accompanied by a series of gadgets inspired by each reality available
at the shops of the three entities and by an agreement between the partners to promote a joint ticketing through which with a single ticket it will be possible to visit the three museums, with the aim of promoting the Larian territory and collecting data on museum-tourist flows.
