August 31 marks the end of the first exhibition of the 2023 season entitled Headspace Design Stefano Barzaghi’s airbrushed helmets for cycling champions. More than 5,000 visitors from all over the world.
It takes art to protect the heads of champions and runners, Stefano Barzaghi’s art that in three months has been enjoyed by more than 5,000 visitors from around the world.
Inaugurated on June 1 in the presence of champions Luca Paolini, Giovanni Lombardi, Filippo Ganna’s family, and institutions, the exhibition was particularly appreciated to the point that it was decided to extend its duration by one month.
Headspace Design is an exhibition promoted and curated by the Madonna del Ghisallo Cycling Museum Foundation in collaboration with Stefano Barzaghi designer (Barzadesign), much loved by two-wheeled sportsmen and women and not only, offering artistic helmets in the collection thanks to these generous lenders. Headspace Design paraded the helmets of: Alessandro Ballan, Marta Bastianelli, Samuele Battistella, Daniele Bennati, Paolo Bettini, Alberto Bettiol, Gianpaolo Caruso, Sonny Colbrelli, Murilo Fischer, Filippo Ganna, Enrico Gasparotto, Barbara Guareschi, Vincenzo Nibali, Giacomo Nizzolo, Mikkel Honorè, Alexander Kristoff, Stefan Kung, Matej Mohoric, Gianni Moscon, Luca Paolini, Domenico Pozzovivo, Joaquim “Purito” Rodríguez, Matteo Sobrero, Attila Valter, Giovanni Visconti, Elia Viviani.
The occasion of Barzaghi’s exhibition also “filled” the important role of communicating a valuable accessory for cyclists: to make people think about protection, safety, and messages that are fundamental to the safety of cyclists and those who ride bicycles.
More than 70 helmets were airbrushed with great skill and creativity by Stefano Barzaghi. The exhibition was also made possible thanks to the photographic contributions of the Sprint Cycling agency of Roberto and Luca Bettini, tireless and inexhaustible friends of the Ghisallo Cycling Museum.
The event was supported by the BCC Brianza e Laghi bank of Alzate Brianza included in the calendar of initiatives organized for the 70th anniversary of the foundation.
The exhibition was enhanced by two bicycles by Pinarello created for Filippo Ganna, the recent hour record bicycle and the bicycle used in the 2021 season, the Bolide TT.
