Passerelle of champions at the Ghisallo Cycling Museum on the eve of the Giro di Lombardia.

Among them visited the facility was a great who recently left competitive sports. Switzerland’s Fabian Cancellara, at Ghisallo as a testimonial for BMC’s new Tecnomachine R bicycle, donated an autographed Tour de France Yellow Jersey of his own, one of many worn at the Grande Boucle. Born in 1981, Cancellara was a time trial specialist (he won four rainbow titles and two Olympic golds). He went on to win three Paris-Roubaix and Tour of Flanders, a Milan-Sanremo as well as numerous other races. The uniform thus becomes part of the Museum’s virtually endless collection.
