The Ghisallo Cycling Museum also becomes a Campus this year. From June 18th, for three weeks, the cycling museum will host children from summer camps accompanied by the social cooperative La Spiga di Meda.

Various activities are on offer, from an engaging and targeted guided tour of the collection aimed at a younger audience, to more immersive workshop activities, where participants, divided into groups, will take on a team challenge, becoming the protagonists of fun games with bicycles, pedalling on rollers and solving quizzes that will allow them to discover and explore topics related to the history of cycling, but above all to find the pieces of a bicycle to be reassembled, hidden specifically in the museum.

The programme is co-ordinated by volunteer Arturo Binda, Mountain Bike and Off-road Cycling Master, who has always been in charge of the museum’s activities for children, with the support of Clara Azzali, the museum’s in-house head of educational services.

After the Night at the Museum, which marked the seasonal opening of the Museum and brought numerous young people of different age groups to Ghisallo, with these summer training events the museum reaches and conquers a younger and younger public and becomes truly educational, achieving an important objective ‘to pass on sensitivity to the history of the bicycle and cycling, to make the values of cycling breathe and live, to entertain and open the minds of these young visitors, fans of the future’.
