Born in Induno Olona, in the province of Varese, on the first day of December 1883, he started working as a mason in Milan at a young age but soon realized that his path would be different. Thanks to the distances he covered by bike to get to work, he trained his legs to compete in his first races. He won the Coppa Valle Olona, and Luison soared to fame. His palmares boasts numerous victories, including the Milano-Sanremo and the first Giro d’Italia.
Not only cycling, but also family memories. Savina, the love of his life, his children Martino and Maria, and the Cicli Ganna company. Then, the friendship with Fiorenzo Magni, who brought the celebration of the Giro back to the villa on Viale Belforte.
