The Ghisallo Cycling Museum pays tribute to Vito Di Tano
On September 30th, the Ghisallo Cycling Museum will host a special ceremony in memory of Vito Di Tano, a legend of Italian cyclocross. The event will be attended by the champion’s family and will be a moment of great human and sporting significance.
On this occasion, several memorabilia belonging to Di Tano will be donated to the museum, enriching the cyclocross section and helping to preserve and pass down the memory of one of the great figures of the discipline.
Vito Di Tano was one of the most prestigious names in Italian and international cyclocross. During his extraordinary career, he won the World Championship title twice in the amateur category, in 1979 and 1986, establishing himself as one of the absolute champions of the discipline. Alongside these achievements, he claimed five Italian national titles and numerous victories in international competitions, distinguishing himself through skill, grit, and determination.
A heartfelt tribute to an athlete who wrote unforgettable chapters in the history of cycling.
