The Madonna del Ghisallo Cycling Museum pays tribute to one of the most beloved and enduring figures in Italian cycling: on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., a special event will be held in memory of Davide Rebellin, an exemplary champion known for his talent, dedication, and sportsmanship.
The event, promoted by the group Michele Scarponi e Davide Rebellin sempre nel cuore in collaboration with the Ghisallo Museum, will be a moment of sharing and reflection, open to the public, cycling enthusiasts, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and appreciating Rebellin both as an athlete and as a man.
During the event, friends, former teammates, sports journalists, representatives of cycling institutions, and the champion’s family members will speak, coming together to honor Rebellin’s career and legacy in the world of cycling.
Davide Rebellin, who tragically passed away in 2022, was one of the longest-serving professionals in the history of cycling, with a career spanning over thirty years and numerous prestigious victories, including Liège–Bastogne–Liège, La Flèche Wallonne, the Clásica San Sebastián, and his complete dominance of the Ardennes Week in 2004. A reserved yet deeply admired figure in the peloton, he embodied the deepest values of the sport with both elegance and determination.
