The Madonna del Ghisallo Cycling Museum is wrapping up the 2025 season in grand style with an event that once again celebrates both the memory and the present of great cycling. A special champion is coming. On Saturday, October 25 at 11:30 AM, the Museum will welcome Filippo Conca, current Italian Road Champion, for a symbolic and highly significant moment: the donation of his tricolour jersey to the Ghisallo Cycling Museum.
The collection will now include a jersey that, in addition to bearing Italy’s colors, tells a story worth discovering, a story of a young rider who represents contemporary cycling, bringing the same values and passion as his predecessors, whose legacies are honored in the Museum dedicated to all cyclists.
Thanks to the collaboration with Giant, the celebratory bicycle used in his victory, the Giant Propel Advanced SL with an Italian-themed livery, will also be on display, dedicated to his 2025 Italian Championship win (achieved on this same model).
This event marks the conclusion of a remarkable season for the Museum, which began with the arrival of three jerseys and Colnago bikes from Tadej Pogačar, and continued with a major exhibition dedicated to the 80th birthday of Eddy Merckx, a successful show that will soon become a book, published with Faema and set to be presented at BookCity Milano.
Eyes are already on the future: Filippo Conca will share his upcoming cycling projects, while Museum Director Carola Gentilini and the President of the Foundation Antonio Molteni will offer a preview of 2026, marking the 20th anniversary of the Ghisallo Cycling Museum. A milestone that will fall in the Olympic year of Milano Cortina 2026, and will feature a packed program of events, meetings, and cultural initiatives dedicated to the history and passion of cycling.
Filippo Conca: “I see myself as a regular rider. As a kid, I was told about this museum, thanks to my dad and the fact that we lived nearby. This place has always fascinated me. I’m a decent cyclist, but I know I’m not a superstar. I never imagined I’d one day bring this jersey to the Ghisallo. It feels strange, as a normal athlete, and it moves me, just like when I won the title. As a regular guy, I was surprised by that win, seeing all those people moved ‘by me and for me.’ I’m hungry to win, but I’m realistic: I’m a good rider, but not a champion, definitely not that…”
Ladies and gentlemen, he may say that, but this is a true Champion, the 2025 Italian Road Cycling Champion, who will wear the tricolour in the 2026 season for the Jayco AlUla international team! And on Saturday, October 25 at 11:30 AM, he’ll be at the Ghisallo Cycling Museum with the celebratory Giant Propel Advanced SL bike, proudly adorned with the colors of Italy and dedicated to his national championship win.

Filippo Conca (born September 22, 1998, in Lecco) is an Italian road cyclist. After racing in the U23 category with Biesse Arvedi, he joined the World Tour in 2021 with Lotto Soudal, where he made his professional debut and won the climber’s jersey at the Tour de la Provence. He later rode for the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, proving himself to be a well-rounded rider, capable of handling mixed terrains and working for his teammates.
In 2025, riding for amateur team Swatt Club, he pulled off one of the season’s biggest surprises by winning the Italian Elite Road Championship, defeating several professional riders. Following his national title, he was signed by the Jayco AlUla World Tour Team (Australia), where he resumed his professional international career, under contract through 2027.
